The Award is intended to “Empower the Next Generation of Leaders and Expand Community Engagement”.
Brooklyn, NY– 4/5/2025 – The K B S Foundation LTD., a nonprofit organization whose
mission is to engage young men of color, particularly Black boys in conversations and activities
critical to their understanding of self, their role in building their communities, leadership
development, and economic self-sufficiency, is proud to announce the monetary I.M.P.A.C.T.
award of $1,000 to Brooklyn Sigma Beta Club, a grassroots organization committed to
mentoring and uplifting underserved youth of color from age 8 to 18.
This grant award will support the Sigma Beta Club in its endeavor to facilitate educational
workshops for financial literacy, college preparation, improving self-esteem, social skills, and
academic achievement. The Award will also help support the group’s general operating fund
The Award is in alignment with the Foundation’s mission to create lasting, community-driven
change and marks an important step toward nurturing leaders of tomorrow.
Aaron Baker, the leader of the Youth Mentoring Group said, “This support from the K B S
