The programmatic theme of the K B S Foundation, Ltd is Building
Strong Minds:
Focus is to provide educational programs and resources geared to uplifting and empowering young men of color (elementary school through college) by constructing an innovative as well as a holistic environment emphasizing educational and personal excellence.
S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics) in partnership with the School of Science, Health, and Technology at Medgar Evers College of The City University of New York is a 4-week intensive program.
Strong Leaders:
A Professional speaker series to better connect and expose participants to opportunities not available through higher education.
Strong Futures:
Develops students for higher educational careers through mentorship, college tours and career readiness programs.
This is done by collaborating with corporate, philanthropic, community-based organizations and other community initiatives whose work directly correlates to the mission of the Foundation
